Honored in 2013 as a finalist for ACCE National Chamber of the Year Award
(This award required an intensive application process that reviewed programming, financials, budgets, strategic plan, etc. and took weeks to compile materials. In addition, all finalists met with a judging panel of 5 and required the Chamber CEO and Board Chair’s participation) -
Completed 4 years of Institute Organization Management (IOM) training in 2014

Achieved the Certified Association Executive (CAE) Credential in 2016
(Met basic requirements of 100 hours of qualified professional development activities plus
passed a 4-hour comprehensive exam. Passed on the first attempt.) -

Personal Leadership and Milestones

Elected to USD 489 Board of Education for 2020-2024. Received the top votes, with 600 votes above the 2nd place candidate – believe this is due to maintaining a respectable reputation with sound character. Voted as President 2021-2022
